I am justified, I am purified, I am sanctified inside you.
I had my full-committee thesis meeting today. Going well. They do so love my fanfiction thesis. I've also spent an absurd amount of time spending much of my absurd Rocky budget on corsets on eBay. Mmmmm, corsetry ...

MsFireCat (7:14 AM): check out this eBay item title: DRAG QUEEN/CROSSDRESSER/LESBIAN*SEXY CORSET + 38"
MsFireCat (7:15 AM): because drag queens, crossdressers and lesbians are naturally the same thing
AlmightyAnus (7:16 AM): damn. a corset +38. that's a badass corset.
AlmightyAnus (7:16 AM): not only that, it's a SEXY corset +38. of dragonslaying
MsFireCat (7:16 AM): plus it can cast protection from evil twice/day

Post a memory of me in the comments. It can be anything you want.

Most of my memories of you are tiny flashes of you giggling and talking with people in a house or dorm that I happened to be in at the time. And your hair.

PS. Fanfiction thesis wtf?

Hee hee, I thought everyone knew about my thesis.

There are a lot of components and general stuffity stuff, but the creative writing component is me making a novel out of a tabletop game I played of "Exalted" with Dustin as the storyteller. Fanfiction thesis. Oh yeah.

This IS my memory of you. Like, the only time I met you.

Very important detail. Ahem.

Regardless of sticker type - since both Pikachu and Pooh rule - I figured a picture of you would involve something zany and funny. Being covered in stickers definitely fits. ;)

Haha, so much for my clever plot to keep unflattering pictures of me off the Internet. Curses!

That was a good time. Man, it was so long ago though. 8th grade maybe? I can't believe I haven't seen you in a good six years after meeting you once. Weird, man.

This is not a memory, this is me recalling how wonderful you are and wishing you were online right now so I could talk at you for hours. Miss you terribly, hope you're well etc. Love and kisses, Cate.

Love you too, dearling. I would love to talk to you too! I hope all is well and Spain was (is still?) fantastic and everything! I'm so looking forward to seeing you again. Hopefully again we shall cross paths online one of these days and then we can play the fun game of catchupy doom. (Like ketchupy doom. Only different.)

It's a lovely little hodge podge, racing about trying to fix that damn pillow, fumes from the nail polish bathroom wafting out, frozen pumpkin tossing, endless mounds of chocolate chip cookies, right now the one that's playing the loudest is fourth grade, sitting at a table with rob russak while you would peel your grapes ans threw one at him. he was so grossed out...frankly I'm still laughing.

:ahem:

You're awesome.

I am shocked ... shocked ... that such an essential item is not freely available to the populace. You should write a letter to the local paper.

Selling out is no excuse. After all, what if you needed a kidney, went to a hospital and they were "sold out" of kidneys? God only knows what could happen!

It makes me wonder how accustomed the world of supermarket shopping is to travesties.

I mean, is it along the lines of a travesty per year? Or more like one per day? It must be looked into!

After all, PriceChopper is well placed to be the greatest enemy of the people yet ... stores everywhere, coded sale items like so-called "Crispy Hexagons" (which I find suspicious by virtue of its oh-so-obvious name) ... the arrangement of the soup cans might be a secret message! It's the Communists I tell you. Them and the pro-choicers.

Heh. I have been informed that there are two kinds of CTYers: Frisbee CTYers and Mao CTYers. And that the two never associate and bridging the gap is impossible.

I tried to deny it, but then I couldn't think of any Frisbee CTYers I hung out with. Can you?

Getting slapped in Lassie's room would be my first memory of you. .:smiles:. way to make a lasting impression.

Some others: you pouncing on me whilst squeeking "POUNCE!", walking in on a larping session, you contributing to the utter destruction of the pool table and you bitching about your love life in the kitchen.

One of my most vivid memories of you involves this time at CTY in 2000 when for some reason after lights out Alex F was in my room and you came in flapping your arms like a huge albatross, and then the RA came in looking very huffy and dragged you away. Also, that thing you said about slapping your uterus out of pure joy. That was hilarious.

I disavow responsibility for starting that. Not my fault.

I do admit to continuing it with a will, though ...

I mean, what was I supposed to do? Those razors were burning a hole in my pocket.

Hmmm... So many...

I'm gonna go with hanging out with you and the Muppet those first weeks of freshman year. Just about every day we were watching a movie or going into town or something. Mostly watching movies.
It was funny to hang out with you guys because I always felt somewhat 3rd-Wheelish.

Then there was that trip to NYC the day after that elephant attack.
And the subsequent water over my head which it took me a minute or two to realize was 7-Up.

There was also that long weekend Wayside and I stayed at your place before you moved. That was actually a lot of fun.
Speaking of trips, there was us going to MI too. I wish I hadn't been so depressed, that could've been a lot more fun (not that it wasn't anyway).

*sigh* Lots of lazing and lounging and dicing and laughing and talking and hugging.
And hair.

? Really? Even in like, the early days, like the first few weeks?

Wow. That's what a writer (or rather a writing teacher) would call foreshadowing.

Yay for summer trips, although elephant attacks still make me want to blush.

You're the best ever. The best. Don't let anyone tell you different.

wow. So many years ago. I do recall that Jesus used to say he would make a porn film, and that he'd call it "Jesus: the Second Coming". More memories as I think of them, although I wasn't really superclose friends with him so you'd probably have an easier time finding someone who was like ... best friends with him or something .... :) in fact I could find them for you ... mwaha. Anything to embarrass old CTY friends.
